The Deschutes Paddle Trail includes the navigable sections of the Deschutes and Little Deschutes Rivers in Deschutes County.  Detailed descriptions of the Paddle Trail can be found in the "Deschutes Paddle Trail River Guide.”  The 54 page Deschutes Paddle Trail River Guide covers 26 miles of the Little Deschutes River (from LaPine to the river’s junction with the Deschutes River south of Sunriver) and 95 miles of the Deschutes River (from Wickiup Reservoir in the south to Lower Bridge in the north which is the last takeout before leaving Deschutes County).  The River Guide provides general information about the Deschutes Rivers, safety information, environmental information and detailed river maps showing access points and river hazards with GPS coordinates and nearby roads.  The River Guides may be purchased at outdoor shops and bookstores for $15 MSRP.
